01 — The atelier
Every tattoo starts with a story. I draw yours to last a lifetime on skin.
I am Jana Kovářová, an artist and tattooer. I specialise in realism, the discipline where every millimetre shows. I do not draw from a catalogue: every motif is made for one person, one place on the body and one story.
I have been tattooing since 2011 and work from a private atelier in Vsetín, Czech Republic, where you get calm, daylight and my full attention.

I turn an old or unloved tattoo into a new motif. Scars become part of the design instead of something to hide.

04 — The way to a tattoo
How it works

Enquiry
Write to me with the motif, placement, approximate size and a few reference photos.

Consultation and design
We talk it through in person or online. I draw the design once the deposit is paid and refine it until it fits.

Your date
The deposit reserves your date and is deducted from the price. Larger pieces are planned over several sessions.

Session and aftercare
Calm and comfort in the atelier. You leave with aftercare instructions; once healed, we arrange a check-up photo.

I studied fine art at Tomas Bata University in Zlín and have been tattooing since 2011. Skin is a canvas like any other to me, except that this piece is one you will carry for life.

Questions before you book
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
It depends on the placement and your sensitivity. Most clients describe an unpleasant scratching rather than pain; fleshy areas hurt less than bones and joints. We take breaks whenever you need them.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The price follows from size, detail, colour and placement. Indicative prices are on the pricing page; you get an exact quote after the consultation about your specific motif.
How long is the wait for a date?
Usually a few weeks, longer for large projects. The current booking status is shown at the top of this page; once the deposit is paid your date is firmly reserved.
