Every tattoo starts with a story. I draw yours to last a lifetime on skin.
My name is Jana Kovářová. I am an artist and tattooer who loves realism, detail and the uniqueness of every body.
I put the utmost sensitivity, focus and care into my work. To me, a tattoo is not just an image on the skin but part of a whole – a connection of art, body, health, spirit and lifestyle.
I feel close to a holistic approach: seeing a person in their entirety. I believe that caring for the body, health and overall balance in life affects not only how a tattoo looks, but also how it heals, its quality and the experience itself.

Cover-ups and scars
I turn an old or unloved tattoo into a new motif. Scars become part of the design instead of something to hide.

Soft grey transitions or rich colour, chosen by the motif, your skin and how the tattoo should age.

You bring an idea, you leave with a design that exists nowhere else. Consultation and sketch are part of the process.

How it works

Enquiry
Write to me with the motif, placement, approximate size and a few reference pictures.

Consultation and design
We talk it through in person or online. I draw the design once the deposit is paid and refine it until it fits.

Your date
The deposit reserves your date and is deducted from the price. Larger pieces are planned over several sessions.

Session and aftercare
Calm and comfort in the atelier. You leave with aftercare instructions; once healed, we arrange a check-up photo.

- Private atelier: in the room it is just you, me and, if you like, one companion.
- Single-use needles and cartridges, sterile covers, certified inks.
- Daylight under the roof, calm, and none of the bustle of a big studio.

Questions before you book
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
It depends on the placement and your sensitivity. Most clients describe an unpleasant scratching rather than pain; fleshy areas hurt less than bones and joints. We take breaks whenever you need them.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The price follows from size, detail, colour and placement. Indicative prices are on the pricing page; you get an exact quote after the consultation about your specific motif.
How long is the wait for a date?
Usually a few weeks, longer for large projects. The current booking status is shown at the top of this page; once the deposit is paid your date is firmly reserved.
